Governor Fallin Recognizes Duncan as STEM Community
Duncan, Oklahoma, now is an official STEM community. During Gov. Mary Fallin's 2015 STEM Summit, the governor recognized Duncan for its commitment to science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. Through a stringent application process, the Duncan community demonstrated that local leaders in industry, community and education were partnering to create an education and training pipeline for our state. From elementary school through college and technical school, our initiatives will give students in Duncan ample opportunity to obtain STEM intellectual capital and technical capability.
