The contest is challenging for students, teachers, and parents. It requires critical thinking, design, drafting, and manufacturing a CO2 race car. The competition is made possible through the collaborative efforts of DAEDF in partnership with our local middle schools, high schools, Red River Technology Center, and Cameron University. As a “Center for Workforce Excellence”, events such as this are opening pathways to manufacturing and engineering in our community.
Over 300 participants competed in this year’s competition, with students coming from Comanche, Central, Duncan, Walters, and Red River Technology Center. Students from all of our surrounding schools are eligible.
