Duncan, Oklahoma – Duncan Area Economic Development Foundation (DAEDF) and South Central Oklahoma Workforce Board (SCOWB) are excited to announce the Cross Sector Workforce Summit, an event designed to foster collaboration between businesses, education providers, and community resources. Scheduled for Friday, December 15 from 11am-2pm at the Red River Technology Center in Duncan, OK, this summit aims to address workforce challenges, promote networking, and create meaningful connections that will positively impact the region.

Event Highlights:

The Cross Sector Workforce Summit offers the perfect opportunity for businesses to connect with workforce, education, and community partners. The morning session kicks off with a Reverse Job Fair, where employers engage with workforce partners to explore untapped talent pools, educational opportunities, and community resources.

After a networking lunch break, the afternoon session shifts gears as employers take the lead in thought-provoking discussions. Led by a seasoned moderator, these conversations will delve into the workforce and education challenges faced by businesses, fostering collaboration and the exchange of innovative solutions, while building meaningful connections.
