Duncan, Oklahoma – The Duncan Area Economic Development Foundation (DAEDF) celebrated 70 years of organized economic development in the region and honored the McCasland family for their enduring commitment to community growth at its annual banquet on February 27th. The evening was a tribute to the past, present, and future of economic prosperity in Duncan and Stephens County.
DAEDF President and CEO Lyle Roggow presented a comprehensive overview of the organization's history, highlighting the pivotal role of the Duncan Industrial Foundation (DIF) and its evolution into DAEDF. He detailed the strategic initiatives and collaborative efforts that have shaped the area's economic landscape since 1954.
"The McCasland family's dedication to Duncan is unparalleled," said Roggow. "For seven decades, they have consistently invested their time, resources, and vision to build a strong foundation for our community. Their contributions span generations, from securing land for major industries to supporting vital community projects."
